Short & Clear
There’s a scene from Sister, Sister that I think about a lot. Tia and Tamara are the spa getting makeovers and when it comes to picking their manicure colors, here’s how they each describe what they want:
Tia: I like my nails short.and for the color, I’ll choose…clear. Oh, what the heck, let’s go all out, crystal clear!
Tamara: Let’s use all the colors. And I want my name painted on too. tamara. Tamara aaa and exclamation point. That works!
For months now I’ve been enjoying wearing my nails with just OPI Nail Envy, to both strengthen my nails but also to give it a simple, chic clear polish look. But in recent weeks, I’ve found something that’s, dare I say, even chicer.
Have you heard the term “my lips but better” for lipstick? It’s as simple as it sounds. A lip color that closely resembles your own natural lip pigment, but elevated. Well, I’ve found a “my nails but better” nail polish. It’s not completely clear, a little milky and not too shiny.
